BEAUTY

God has made everything beautiful in its time.

Ecclesiastes 3:11

"Your fame spread among the nations on account of your beauty, because the splendor I had given you made your beauty perfect," declares the Sovereign Lord.

Ezekiel 16:14

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"

Isaiah 52:7

Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes.  Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.  For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful.

I Peter 3:3 - 5

A wife of noble character who can find?  She is worth far more than rubies. . . She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.  She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

Proverbs 31:10, 25 - 26

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

Proverbs 31:30

This is what I seek:  that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.

Psalm 27:4

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Psalm 139:14

The Lord does not look at the things man looks at.  Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

I Samuel 16:7

How beautiful you are, my darling! Oh, how beautiful!  You eyes are doves.

Song of Songs 1:15

You have stolen my heart, my sister, my bride; you have stolen my heart with one glance of your eyes, with one jewel of your necklace.

Song of Songs 4:9

The Lord their God will save them on that day as the flock of his people.  They will sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown. How attractive and beautiful they will be!  Grain will make the young men thrive, and new wine the young women.

Zechariah 9: 16 - 17
