ASSURANCE

God affirms us, making us a sure thing in Christ, putting his Yes within us.  By his Spirit he has stamped us with his eternal pledge -- a sure beginning of what he is destined to complete.

2 Corinthians 1:21 - 22 The Message

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of your own doing, it is the gift of God.

Ephesians 2:8

I wipe away your sins because of who I am. And so, I will forget the wrongs you have done.

Isaiah 43:25

My counsel shall stand,

Luke 12:29 - 31

Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God.  "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."

Mark 11:22 - 24

Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.

1 Peter 4:12 - 13

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

2 Peter 3:9

And I am sure that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again.

Philippian 1:6

As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

Psalm 18:30

As far as sunrise is from sunset, he has separated us from our sins.

Psalm 103:12 The Message
