Don't let what you can't do interfere with what you can do.

There are parts of a ship which taken by themselves would sink. The engine would sink. The propeller would sink. But when the parts of a ship are built together, they float. So with the events of my life. Some have been tragic. Some have been happy. But when they are built together, they form a craft that floats and is going someplace. And I am comforted.

Happiness does not come from doing easy work but from the afterglow of satisfaction that comes after the achievement of a difficult task that demanded our best.
Theodore Isaac Rubin
A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at him or her.
Psalms 75:6
Dear Lord, Thank you for the promise of Your word. Help me to always do my best remembering that there are things I can't do. When I face challenges that leave me breathless, let me lean on you. When I hesitate to take the next step, give me a gentle nudge to get me going. Help me to always remember that when I face a road block, you will show me the way and tell me what I can do. Amen
