No mere man has ever seen, heard, or even imagined what wonderful things God has for those who love the Lord.
1 Corinthians 2:9
For this is the secret: Christ lives in you.
Colossians 1:27
As the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him and reflect his glory even more.
2 Corinthians 3:18
If you observe a really happy man you will find him building a boat, writing a symphony, educating his son, growing double dahlias in his garden, or looking for dinosaur eggs in the Gobi desert. He will not be searching for happiness as if it were a collar button that has rolled under the radiator. He will not be striving for it as a goal in itself. He will have become aware that he is happy in the course of living life twenty-four crowded hours of the day.
W. Beran Wolfe
Let the Spirit change your way of thinking.
Ephesians 4:23
Those who trust in the Lord for help
will find their strength renewed.
They will rise on wings like eagles;
they will run and not get weary;
they will walk and not grow weak
Isaiah 40:31
If anyone would tell you the shortest, surest way to happiness and all perfection, he must tell you to make it a rule to yourself to thank and praise God for everything that happens to you. For it is certain that whatever seeming calamity happens to you, if you thank and praise God for it, you turn it into a blessing.
William Law
Think the same way that Christ Jesus thought.
Philippians 2:5
Dear Lord, help me to be aware of those floundering around me. Guide me to find the right words of praise and encouragement. Grant that I may be a carrier of cheerfulness, sensitive to the suffering of others by seeing beauty of human hearts as You do. Show me how to uplift the spirits of the lives I meet today. Help me to be a helping hand to another as You are to me. Awaken me, to what I am and help me become the most I can be for You. May Your love flow through me. Amen.
