Church School for Adults

Classes start up on January 6th, 2008

This winter adults will have a choice of four classes being offered at the 10 a.m. Sunday school hour: 

• Christian Formation 101: Faith is a dynamic experience. As Christians our faith is continuously being formed and transformed. Join Jessica Tate for a series of discussions on Christian Formation during the 10 o’clock hour in January. Room 110.
• Basic Bible. Pastor Henry Brinton returns to lead an in-depth look at the week’s lectionary reading. (“Lectionary” is the fancy word for the Bible scripture assigned for the day.) No Bible study experience required or expected. This class will meet in the multipurpose room.   Please note that this class is also offered on Friday mornings at 11 a.m. in the parlor, followed by a short prayer service in the sanctuary. MPR
• Parenting Your Teenager. Come commiserate and celebrate with fellow adventurers on the path of raising adolescents. Facilitated by fellow parents of teenagers, this class meets in room 234.
• Morning Mingle. This is a casual drop-in class that uses videos and short studies to explore faith and life connections. We’re found in room 244 (across from the nursery).
