Christian Education for Our Children

There is abundant energy and many ideas among those working with our children and youth. We are seeking new ways of lighting the spark of discipleship in our young ones. Meanwhile, the children themselves can be amazing teachers with their thought-provoking questions and different perspectives.

During 8:45 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. worship services:

• Nursery is open for infants up to age 3.
• Storytime is available for children ages 3 to 5 in room 252.
• At the 8:45 service only, children in Kindergarten to 2nd grade are dismissed to Godly Play following the children’s conversation.  Godly Play Brochure

During the 10:00 a.m. Sunday school hour:

• Children ages 3 - 4 will be learning the stories of Creation, Noah, and Abraham and Sarah in room 255.
• Ages 5 – K will be exploring the stories of Creation, Noah, and Abraham in room 257.
• Grades 1-2 will be learning about God’s creation, leaders of the faith and prayer. The children gather in room 135 and are met by parents in room 137.
• Grades 3-4 will be experiencing the Parables through Godly Play. The children gather in room 135  and can be picked up in room 233.
• Grades 5-6 will be having conversations about Jesus and how His Word applies to the complicated world of pre-teens. These children gather in room 135.
